Lucknow conditions
The Ekana Stadium has a reputation for slower surfaces than many Indian venues, and spinners have often been effective in the middle overs there. Evening dew is common in October, which can make gripping the ball harder for the side bowling second. Teams that win the toss at night venues in India frequently choose to chase for this reason.
